About Grow Asia and the Digital Directory
Grow Asia was established by the World Economic Forum, in collaboration with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), to bring together governments, the private sector, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and other key stakeholders in the region to convene, facilitate, and scale efforts that promote more inclusive, resilient and sustainable food systems.
In 2019, Grow Asia partnered with the Inclusive Business Action Network (iBAN) to develop the Grow Asia Digital Directory—an innovative platform designed to connect partners with emerging agritech solution providers. This resource offers a comprehensive overview of the regional agritech landscape, supporting informed decision-making and collaboration.
Today, the Digital Directory is supported by Grow Asia’s GrowVentures Program, which aims to accelerate the adoption of climate-smart innovations and digital tools throughout Southeast Asia. By making affordable, impactful solutions accessible to farmers and agri-SMEs, we are promoting sustainable growth and resilience in the sector.
Grow Asia leverages this platform to fast-track digital transformation by increasing awareness of available solutions, preventing redundant efforts, and identifying digital technology gaps. The Digital Directory is maintained as a public good—freely accessible to solution providers, agribusinesses, investors, and all stakeholders interested in advancing agritech innovation across the region.
